DR.G

Dr.G is a Korean dermocosmetics brand. It was founded by Ahn Gun-young (안건영), a dermatologist who opened the Gowoonsesang clinic in 1998, which the brand describes as Korea's first cosmetic dermatology clinic. Dr.G grew out of that clinic and the skin he treated every day: the idea was to create skincare for troubled skin, and sensitive skin in particular. The brand is owned by Gowoonsesang Cosmetics. After several years under Swiss retail group Migros, the company was bought by L'Oréal: the deal was announced in December 2024 and closed in March 2025. Today Dr.G is part of L'Oréal's Consumer Products Division. In Korea, Dr.G Korean skincare is one of the big names on the skincare shelves, and you'll find it in Olive Young stores across the country.
