KAHI

KAHI (가히) is a Korean skincare brand launched in 2020. It belongs to Korea Tech (코리아테크), a company founded in 2003 and led by Lee Dong-yeol, which first made its mark by bringing beauty devices to Korea. The brand name has a lovely story behind it: 가히 combines the first and last consonants of the Korean alphabet (ㄱ and ㅎ) with the first and last vowels (ㅏ and ㅣ). Just like hangul was created so anyone could learn it, KAHI wants self-care to feel easy for everyone.

One product put the brand on the map: the Wrinkle Bounce Multi Balm, a pink balm stick. Actress Kim Go-eun, KAHI's ambassador, uses it on screen in The King: Eternal Monarch (2020) and again in Yumi's Cells (2021). Fans quickly nicknamed it the "Kim Go-eun balm". The stick has even popped up in music videos by US stars such as Doja Cat.

The heart of the brand is the Wrinkle Bounce line. Its Multi Balm pairs fermented Jeju oil with a salmon complex: salmon collagen, salmon PDRN and salmon proteoglycan. Around it, KAHI built a cream, an essence, an ampoule and a sheet mask.

KAHI turned the stick into a real skincare step. Instead of dipping into a jar, you twist the base and glide the balm straight onto your skin, no fingers needed.
