FROMRIER

FROMRIER, written 프롬리에 in Korean, is a skincare brand from South Korea. It is run by 이닛컴퍼니 주식회사, a company led by Lee Ye-na. Its products are made in Korea and sold through the brand's own Korean website and its Naver store. The line printed on its packs sums up the idea: "Start from the barrier."

At FROMRIER, that word has two meanings. There is the skin barrier, which the brand wants to protect with simple formulas built around EGF and centella. And there are the barriers of everyday life, which the brand wants to break down: FROMRIER calls itself a barrier-free beauty brand, designed with people with visual impairments in mind too.

FROMRIER's key ingredient is EGF, a peptide used in skincare and listed in the INCI as sh-Oligopeptide-1. The brand often pairs it with centella asiatica (cica) and other peptides. The ingredient list of the 5GF BB includes five of them.

The Vegan EGF Cica range covers the SPF 50+ PA++++ sunscreens, vegan according to the brand. The Water Sun Ampoule has a fluid, almost watery texture. The Mineral Sun Cream relies on a mineral filter, titanium dioxide, with centella and ceramides.

The words "Braille-engraved for barrier-free" on the packaging say it clearly. FROMRIER also says it donates 1% of its sales to accessibility projects.
