TREECELL

TREECELL (트리셀) is a Korean hair and scalp care brand launched in October 2021. Korean press describes it as the lifestyle brand of L&P Cosmetic, and it is sold by Treecell Inc. (주식회사 트리셀). The idea behind it is simple: match your hair care to the rhythm of your day and to what your scalp actually needs. The brand started with two collagen shampoos, one for the morning and one for the evening, and they are still what it is best known for in Korea. Since then it has added treatments for damaged hair, a hair mist, a hair oil and, in 2024, a bath and body line called UNBALANCE.

• Day & Night Collagen: the two collagen shampoos, in a 520ml bottle or a 120ml tube, the Day Collagen Shampoo Morning of Resort and the Night Collagen Shampoo Midnight Forest.
• Forte: the Forte Ampoule Treatment, a silicone-free rinse-off treatment for very damaged hair, scented Citrus Shower.
• Triple Bonding: the Triple Bonding Treatment, a rinse-off treatment for hair stressed by bleach, color or heat, scented Trolley Neroli.
• UNBALANCE Cloud Forest: the house bath and body line, launched in 2024, with five 500ml products built around a complex of Jeju hinoki cypress, green tea and rapeseed flower.

Outside these ranges, TREECELL also makes the Anti Dandruff Shampoo, a silicone-free shampoo for flaky scalps, the Triple Layered Hair Mist, a three-phase leave-in mist, and the jojoba Recovery Oil Essence.

• Oily scalp: Night Collagen Shampoo Midnight Forest in the evening; keep the Recovery Oil Essence for your ends only.
• Flakes or itchy scalp: Anti Dandruff Shampoo, left on for one to two minutes before rinsing.
• Dry, dull or damaged hair: Day Collagen Shampoo Morning of Resort, then Forte Ampoule Treatment once or twice a week.
• Bleached, colored or straightened hair: Triple Bonding Treatment, then Triple Layered Hair Mist before blow-drying.
• Just curious: the 120ml tubes, or the Damaged Hair Trial 3-Piece Set and Night Routine Trial 3-Piece Set.

Most brands sort their shampoos by hair type. TREECELL also sorts them by time of day. The Day Collagen Shampoo is made for your morning shower: it washes gently and leaves lengths soft. The Night Collagen Shampoo is made for the evening, when your scalp has built up a day's worth of oil, and it cleanses oily scalps more deeply. Both use low-molecular collagen and a carrot leaf extract developed with a Korean manufacturer. Scent is the other signature. Every product has a named fragrance, such as Morning of Resort, Midnight Forest, Ocean Breeze, Mandarin Love or Marine Bridge, and the curved pump bottles are easy to spot on a shelf.

TREECELL is brand new at Ma Petite Coree, so the best guide is what the brand itself highlights. On its Naver store, the Day and Night Collagen Shampoo duo is the most popular choice, followed by the Anti Dandruff Shampoo, the Forte Ampoule Treatment and the Recovery Oil Essence. At the end of 2024, Korean press was already naming the Day and Night duo, the Forte Ampoule Treatment and the Recovery Oil Essence among the brand's signature products.

If you only pick one, start with the shampoo that fits your scalp: Night Collagen Shampoo Midnight Forest if it gets oily fast, Day Collagen Shampoo Morning of Resort if your lengths feel dry. Then add a rinse-off treatment, and the Triple Layered Hair Mist to detangle and add shine. For the rest of the bathroom, the UNBALANCE line rounds things out with a Cloud Forest Body Wash, a Cloud Forest Body Lotion and a Cloud Forest Hand Wash in the same woody scent.
