CHARDE

CHARDE (샤르드 in Korean) is a skincare brand from South Korea. It started in January 2020 on Wadiz, a Korean crowdfunding platform, with a Hawaiian deep ocean water mist inspired by the experience of flight crews, who know all about the dry air in airplane cabins. Its original slogan sums up the mindset: trust the ingredients and how much of them goes into a formula, not the brand name.

Today, CHARDE is run by the Korean company NewSelect (뉴셀렉트), which also runs the brand EIOM. It calls itself a slow-aging skincare brand: products you use every day, over time, rather than a promise of instant results. In Korea you'll find it at Olive Young, in the Shilla duty free online store and in pharmacies in Seoul. Outside Korea, it sells on Qoo10 in Japan, on Amazon and on TikTok Shop. At Ma Petite Coree, it arrives with its brightening care, its eye creams and its firming products.

Mela brings together CHARDE's brightening care, which helps even out skin tone and fade the look of dark spots. The Melacare Peel Cream Mask combines niacinamide, glutathione, alpha-arbutin, vitamin C and retinol. The Darktoning Bubble Peel Serum, a rice water foam, gently exfoliates before you rinse. The Mela-lazing Ampoule Cream, launched in May 2026, pairs a MELAMELTING cream with ampoule capsules of vitamin C, retinol, glutathione and resveratrol. The Snow Ampoule relies on niacinamide and arbutin.

• Eye Care: three 20 ml eye creams, each sold with its massage device or as a refill. Volufiline Volume for volume, NMN Plus Lift for firmness and Glutathione Toning, launched in July 2026, for brighter-looking eyes. The Eye Bag Lift 1100 Shot patches complete the range.
• Hyal Plumping: the hydration range, with a serum and a capsule cream built on several forms of hyaluronic acid. The cream came out in October 2026.
• Cloud: a light gel cream and a serum mist with sea water, collagen and hyaluronic acid.

Alongside these ranges, CHARDE makes firming care: the micro-bubble Bubble Jection Serum, the PDRN Volume Shot Ampoule, the 5 Retino Boosting Serum with five retinoids, the Pore Bonding Cream for the look of pores and the Lifthera Gel Mask for the lower face.

• Dull, tired-looking eyes: Glutathione Toning Eye Cream with Massage Device.

The Melacare mask, the Darktoning foam and the Core Fit Mask all work on texture, so don't use them on the same day. On its website, CHARDE talks about "Essential Beauty" and "The Essentialist Collection": beauty that is revealed rather than created, and formulas in which, according to the brand, no ingredient is there without a reason. In practice, CHARDE starts from one specific skin concern (the look of dark spots, tired eyes, loss of firmness, lack of hydration), then picks the actives and the technology to address it. It describes itself as an "essential home clinic": targeted care you do at home.

You can see it in the formats. The Melacare Peel Cream Mask goes on with a brush and peels off as a film. The eye creams come with an applicator that vibrates and gently warms up to around 40 °C. The Eye Bag Lift 1100 Shot patches carry tiny tips that dissolve on the skin. CHARDE has also developed its own ingredients: MELAMELTING for the Mela range, LIFTOX for the Eye Bag Lift 1100 Shot Reedle Patch and QUNAFIT Complex, made with quercetin, NAD+ and collagen extract, for the Core Fit Mask.

On its website, the brand highlights its three most-wanted products: the Melacare Peel Cream Mask, the Darktoning Bubble Peel Serum and the Mela-lazing Ampoule Cream. Spread an even layer of the mask with the silicone brush included, let it dry for about 40 minutes into a clear film, peel it off, then pat in what's left.

For the eye area, the Korean press names the Eye Bag Lift patches and the NMN Plus Lift eye cream among the brand's signature products. The Eye Bag Lift 1100 Shot Reedle Patch carries 1,100 micro-tips built around LIFTOX, the brand's own ingredient, while the NMN Plus Lift Eye Cream with Massage Device pairs NMN, collagen and peptides with an applicator that vibrates and warms. Among the 2026 launches, the 5 Retino Boosting Serum combines five retinoids, including retinol and retinal, with niacinamide, ceramides and hyaluronic acid; the Core Fit Mask is a wash-off mask that tightens as it dries; and the Hyal Plumping Double Capsule Cream focuses on hydration when the air turns dry.
