BLACKPINK members: Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa, who’s who in 2026

Looking for the BLACKPINK members and want to finally know who’s who? You’re in the right place. Since 2016, this four-girl group has racked up hits like “Ddu-du Ddu-du”, “How You Like That” and “Pink Venom”, and it has performed on stages all over the world.

Today, it’s a little more complicated to follow: the group still exists, but each member also has her own career. In this guide, we sum it all up simply, member by member, and show you what we have in stock in Seoul for Blinks.

The 4 BLACKPINK members: who’s who?

BLACKPINK has had four members since its debut, with no line-up changes at all. Three are Korean or of Korean descent, and one is Thai. Here are the key facts so you never mix them up again.

Jisoo김지수 · Kim Ji-soo

• Born on January 3, 1995, South Korea. She’s the oldest in the group
• Also an actress: lead of the drama Snowdrop (JTBC, 2021-2022). First solo, “Flower”, in March 2023

Solo label: BLISSOO

Jennie김제니 · Kim Jennie

• Born on January 16, 1996, South Korea. She spent part of her childhood in New Zealand
• First in the group to release a solo: “Solo”, in November 2018. First album, Ruby, in March 2025

Solo label: OA (Odd Atelier)

Rosé박채영 · Park Chae-young

• Born on February 11, 1997 in Auckland (New Zealand), she grew up in Melbourne, Australia
• Her duet “APT.” with Bruno Mars (October 2024) went around the world

Solo label: The Black Label

Lisa리사 · Lalisa Manobal

• Born on March 27, 1997 in Buriram province, Thailand. She’s the maknae (the youngest)
• First solo, “Lalisa”, in September 2021. Actress in season 3 of The White Lotus (2025)

From “Whistle” to Coachella: the story of BLACKPINK

BLACKPINK debuted with YG Entertainment on August 8, 2016 with the single album Square One and two tracks at once: “Whistle” and “Boombayah”. Next came “Playing with Fire” and “Stay” in November, then “As If It's Your Last” in 2017.

The breakthrough came with “Ddu-du Ddu-du” (2018) and “Kill This Love” (2019). In 2020, “How You Like That” broke records on YouTube, and the group released its first full album, The Album, with “Lovesick Girls” and “Ice Cream”, a duet with Selena Gomez.

In 2022, the album Born Pink (with “Pink Venom” and “Shut Down”) reached number 1 on the Billboard 200 in the United States, a first for a Korean girl group. And in April 2023, BLACKPINK became the first Asian group to headline Coachella, the big California festival. To follow their concerts like the Blinks do, there’s of course the official BLACKPINK lightstick.

Group and solos: how it has worked since 2023

In 2023, the four members’ contracts with YG were coming to an end. On December 5, 2023, YG announced that they had renewed for group activities: BLACKPINK continues. Their solo careers, however, happen elsewhere:

1. JennieShe created her label OA (Odd Atelier) in 2023.
2. JisooShe launched her label BLISSOO in February 2024.
3. LisaShe introduced her company LLOUD in February 2024.
4. RoséShe joined The Black Label for her management, and signed with Atlantic Records for her solo music.

The result: when BLACKPINK gets back together, it’s a real event. The group went back on tour with the Deadline World Tour, launched on July 5, 2025 at Goyang stadium, near Seoul, and wrapped up at the end of January 2026 in Hong Kong, after 33 concerts.

Where is BLACKPINK in 2026?

On February 27, 2026, BLACKPINK released the EP Deadline, its first record since Born Pink: five tracks, including “Jump” and “Go”. It sold more than 1.46 million copies on the first day on the Hanteo chart, a record for a K-pop girl group.

On August 8, 2026, for the group’s 10th anniversary, the four members met 40 fans at the National Museum of Korea, in Seoul. Many Blinks felt the event was too small for such an anniversary, and the members publicly apologized.

And since the end of summer, the solo releases keep coming:

• Jennie released the EP Fallen Angel digitally on August 28, 2026; the physical album comes out on October 30.
• Jisoo unveiled “Click” on September 4, 2026, the first single from her first studio album (release date not yet announced).
• Lisa released “Sawadika” in early September; her EP Press Play is expected on October 23, 2026, and in November she’ll play a series of concerts at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, a first for a K-pop artist.
• Rosé released the single “new trick” on September 18, 2026. Earlier in the year, in February, she won a Brit Award for “APT.”, the first for a K-pop artist.

Watch out for rumors: as of mid-October 2026, we haven’t found any official announcement of a new group album or tour. As soon as a record is announced, we’ll open pre-orders: keep an eye on our K-pop pre-orders.
