An orange bottle that smells of citrus, a pink toner with gentle acids, a green jar with centella: nacific is a Korean brand that focuses on plant extracts and products that are easy to use every day.

In this guide, we explain where NACIFIC comes from, what’s in its products, how to find your way through its lines and above all where to start depending on your skin. We finish with a complete routine, morning and night.

The story of nacific, formerly Natural Pacific

NACIFIC hasn’t always had this name. In its early days, in the 2010s, the brand was called Natural Pacific (내추럴 퍼시픽). In 2016, the Korean magazine Hankyung Business described it as a natural cosmetics brand, which won an award in its category that year in the Korean brand preference rankings. Its slogan at the time: “healthy ingredients make healthy skin”.

In that same article, Hankyung Business named the Fresh Herb Origin Serum as the brand’s top-selling product in 2016. The brand then took the name NACIFIC, in which you can hear the sounds of its old name, “NAtural paCIFIC”.

Today, NACIFIC is run by the company The Skin Factory (더스킨팩토리), based in the Gangnam district of Seoul. In 2024, the K-pop group ATEEZ was its face. As of mid-October 2026, its Korean website highlights its Rice Pepta Collagen line, with rice and collagen, alongside its original lines.

The NACIFIC philosophy: skincare that understands your skin

NACIFIC’s current slogan, on its official website, is “Skincare that understands”, in Korean “내 피부를 이해하는 스킨케어”, skincare that understands your skin. The idea: start from each skin’s needs, with simple ingredients. In practice, that means:

  • Plant extracts: calendula, centella, aloe, flower and citrus extracts, found in almost every line.
  • One line per need: soothing (Cica PDRN), refining skin texture (Pink AHA BHA), hydrating (Hyal, Uyu), brightening (Fresh Herb Origin).
  • Pleasant textures: watery toners, light creams, sherbet-style cleansing balms. Skincare should stay a pleasure.

NACIFIC’s key ingredients

Each NACIFIC line is built around a main ingredient. Here are the ones to know.

The plants and citrus of Fresh Herb Origin

The original line combines plant extracts (chamomile, white water lily, calendula) and citrus oils. In 2016, the Korean press listed resveratrol, sea buckthorn oil and argan oil in its serum. To start, the Fresh Herb Origin toner is based on calendula flower water and niacinamide.

The centella and PDRN of the Cica PDRN line

The green Cica PDRN line is aimed at sensitive skin. The first ingredient of the Fresh Cica PDRN Barrier Cream is centella leaf water, a plant known for soothing. PDRN (sodium DNA in the ingredient list) is a DNA fragment, traditionally derived from salmon; the brand doesn’t specify its origin.

The gentle acids of Pink AHA BHA

The pink Pink AHA BHA line combines exfoliating acids with watermelon extract. They are present in small amounts: for example, the Pink AHA BHA serum lists 100 ppm of salicylic acid in its ingredient list, with niacinamide, panthenol and allantoin for gentleness.

Rose of Jericho and hyaluronic acid in Hyal Booster

The first ingredient of the Hyal Booster ampoule is an extract of Anastatica hierochuntica, one of the plants called “rose of Jericho”, with hyaluronic acid, ceramides and squalane: a product for skin that lacks water.

The milk of the Uyu line

“Uyu” (우유) means “milk” in Korean. The Uyu Cream toner contains milk extract, niacinamide and panthenol, in a milky texture that softens the skin.

Which NACIFIC for your skin?

We’ve sorted by need: for each one, our favorite product shown large, and two others to round it out.

Sensitive skin that turns red or feels hot

Go for centella: a gentle gel cleanser, a calendula essence, and a barrier cream to finish.

Combination, blemish-prone skin, uneven texture

The gentle acids of the pink line, and a salicylic acid toner on blemish-prone areas, every other evening to start.

Dehydrated, tight skin

A water-rich ampoule, then a milky toner or a plant toner in several thin layers.

A complete NACIFIC routine, morning and night

In the morning

  1. CleanseThe Cica PDRN gel cleanser, or simply lukewarm water if your skin is dry.
  2. ToneThe Fresh Herb Origin toner, patted in with your hands.
  3. SerumThe Hyal Booster ampoule, a few drops.
  4. MoisturizeThe Fresh Herb Origin cream, or the Cica PDRN cream if your skin is sensitive.
  5. ProtectThe Sun Essence, in a sufficient amount, reapplied during the day.

In the evening

  1. Remove makeupThe Rice Pepta Collagen balm or the Fresh Herb Origin oil on dry skin, then emulsify with a little water.
  2. CleanseThe Super Clean foam or the Cica PDRN gel cleanser.
  3. ToneThe Pink AHA BHA toner, two or three evenings a week, otherwise the Uyu Cream toner.
  4. SerumThe Pink AHA BHA serum, or the calendula essence on evenings when your skin is irritated.
  5. NourishThe Cica PDRN cream, and once a week the Rice Pepta peel-off mask.

Our tips for using NACIFIC well

  • One new product at a time: wait one to two weeks before adding another, and test it first on a small area, for example behind your ear.
  • Watch out for citrus oils: several Fresh Herb Origin products contain citrus essential oils, like bergamot. If your skin reacts to natural fragrances, choose the Cica PDRN line instead.
  • Acids, not every evening: start the Pink AHA BHA line or the Origin Red toner two or three times a week, and don’t combine them on the same evening.
  • SPF every morning: especially if you use acid products, sunscreen is essential the next day.
  • Cleansing balm on dry skin: massage first without water, then add a little water to emulsify before rinsing.
Good to know

NACIFIC products are cosmetics: they help take care of your skin, but they aren’t medicines. If you have blemishes that last, persistent redness or skin that reacts to everything, ask a dermatologist for advice.

The tip from Seoul

In Korea, lots of girls use toners as an “express mask”: they soak two or three cotton pads in Fresh Herb Origin or Uyu Cream toner and lay them on their cheeks and forehead for five minutes, while they make their coffee. The skin is more supple, and the cream then spreads much better.
